One of the biggest newspapers in Sweden, Expressen, is a long time customer on Cargo. Now they are making more use of their investment by using it for images as well. Photographers will deliver images via Cargo forms, the information in the forms will be embedded as metadata in the images. Then the images are sent for indexing in the DAM-system, at the same time both the photographer and the editor that ordered the images, are notified that the images are in place by e-mail. Everything completely automatic and without any extra license fees.

The Belgium publisher Sanoma Magazines decides for Cargo. A full installation of Cargo including the modules Cargo Online Preflight and Cargo Connect will be installed during November. Sanoma Belgium is one of the leading publishers in Belgium with 35 titles, owned by Sanoma in the Netherlands which is a part of Sanoma in Finland. This deal is done in partnership with our Belgium partner Four Pees.
