The Norwegian newspaper group Mentor Medier has decided to go for Cargo. This is done together with a decision of replacing their CRM system with Cross-Advertising from Atex and the systems will of course be integrated. The project starts almost directly with the goal of having both systems live in the beginning of February 2025. 

The Finnish media house Otava Media is the latest customer moving to Cargo. We will, together with our partner Speedmedia, deliver a system including the modules Production and Digital, integrated with Talea. The system is planned to be up and running first week of November 2024.

Update for the MySQL connector and some fixes for SFTP and the REST calls

We are now integrating with Cross-advertising version 8. This means we can deliver an integrated solution with all the latest versions of Cross-advertising.

FileTrain 6.9 is released and can be downloaded. The major feature added is the option to set transfer type when using FTP-transfers. 

There is a version of Cargo Production plug-in for Adobe InDesign CC 2019 available. Please contact us if you would like to upgrade.

A brand new product is introduced - Deadline.

Deadline is a server solution to act as a Master for all the different timings that is part of any production workflow. When do you need to deliver your advert in order to make the next publishing, when is the last time to send a proof, when do we need to send to the printer in order to give them a chance to print on time for publishing. That's just an example, timing issues are everywhere, in all production environments regardless of which kind of business. Deadline is setup per product which means all products in Deadline can have their own settings if needed. Thanks to the built-in REST API, any other system can be integrated to get their workflow timing from Deadline.
