Take control of your files
If you are receiving lot of files via e-mail and FTP, then Cargo might be a better solution for you.
With e-mail and FTP your have none or little metadata that describes the files that are being sent to you. With Cargo you get all that metadata that you have always wished for. You control what information you want to receive.
With the new groundbreaking Online Preflight module you can check incoming files for errors, before they even arrive in production. The person sending you the file will automatically see on the webpage if the PDF was OK or not according to your preflight standard.
Cargo sets a new standard when it comes to sending and receiving files. This solution gives you the ability to build your own professional looking web forms for your customers. Your customer only has to fill out the information that you need internally, select the file and press send. It's as easy as that.
No special FTP client, no more problems with sending large attachments via e-mail with little or no information.
Cargo Dispatch
Once a file has been uploaded to the Cargo system it shows up in the Cargo Dispatch interface. Within this intuitive interface you will easily find the file that has been uploaded. From Cargo Dispatch you can also run customizable actions to automate processes within your workflow.
Cargo Online Preflight
Preflight files directly in a web browser. Your customer uploads a file to your Cargo portal, but before it actually gets delivered it will run through a preflight engine* to make sure the file is OK according to your standards. Customer will get an instant result back to the web browser and in case of errors or warnings, those will be listed very neatly to be easy to understand.

Cargo Sender
For those who are working with freelance photographers who are frequently uploading many files, there is a small desktop application called Cargo Sender. Cargo Sender lets the user simply drag & drop their files on to the applications main window, click send and off they go. This way they don't have use a web browser every time files are uploaded. This speeds up the process and they can easily move on to the next project.
If the Cargo Online Preflight module is installed, even the Cargo Sender can communicate with the preflight engine, giving the customer the option to preflight all PDF´s before sending them.
Today Cargo is used successfully by some of the largest publishers and printers in Scandinavia.
Cargo is available in four different versions:
Small - Suitable for smaller companies who needs to organize their files but don´t need more than one inflow. In the small version you will have one web form that you can customize any way you like. Also included in all versions is Cargo Staff and Cargo Admin.
Medium - Same as the Small version, however you can create as many different web forms as you like to meet different customer demands. The Medium version also includes Cargo Sender, which you can give to as many of your frequent users as you wish. There is no limit issuing Cargo Sender.
Large - Large is the same as the medium version but with the addition to automate your workflow - any kind of moving, copying, adding metadata to images, picking up files from an FTP server or e-mail. Integrate it easily with any hot folder or Command Line Interface (CLI) based application. Build your own AppleScript that automates any repetitive task that you might have, preflight incoming PDF files, the list can go on forever. XLarge - As you would expect by now, everything in Large is included in XLarge. The specific addition in XLarge is the option to search a 3rd party SQL database (SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL) e.g search the ad booking system for the booking in one window of Cargo, see the files entering the system in another windows. Copy data from the booking system to Cargo to make sure you have all the right information.
