Nine more newspapers starts using Cargo. The business group Hallpressen buys a system, Cargo XL, to be used at all newspapers in the group. The system will at first mainly handle the advertising files entering the newspapers and for this purpose an integration with the Atex AdBase system is in place. All advertisers will also be offered the option to use the Cargo Online Preflight features where the PDF´s can be preflighted directly in the web browser.

Laidback Solutions exhibits at the IFRA-Expo taking place in Hamburg, Germany, 4-6 October. The new newspaper, starting this week, Aquidiario buys FileTrain to automate the in - and outfllow of files to the newspaper. ColorMan will also be used at the editiorial desk for image handling in InDesign CS4. The whole deal is handled in Spain by Eurosimer Digital.

PROscript version 3.05 is released. This version is mainly fixes made to make it compatible with later releases of QuarkXPress, InDesign and Acrobat. You may download the new version of PROscript here.

Aller Media, one of the largest publishing houses in Sweden with about 30 different titles, buys Cargo after a test period. Cargo will handle most of the material entering Aller from external channels, e.g. advertising files and image files. Cargo will be used at all the Aller offices in Sweden.

Bonnier Tidskrifter, the largest publishing house in Sweden publishing more than 50 different titles, upgrades their Cargo system. This upgrade gives a higher degree of automation. The Cargo system is used for all advertising files for all the titles.

Laholms Lito buys FileTrain in order to automate parts of their big workflow. FileTrain will be used to automatically transfer files to different locations depending on metadata in the files, name changing of files and other time consuming tasks.
Laholms Lito is one of the largest repro houses in Sweden with customers such as IKEA, Ellos, Halén, the city of Halmstad and many more.

Direktpress is the next customer upgrading their AddMan Pro installation for Cargo. The installation will handle the four titles in Stockholm. Cargo at Direktpress is integrated with MPress from Tieto Enator giving the option for the users to search and match orders and adverts within the Cargo system. This installation will run fully in the first part of April 2010.

Le Journal du Montreal, one of the largest newspapper groups in Canada, are upgrading to QuarkXPress 8. As a part of the upgrade process, the use of ColorMan is increased to everyone in the layout department. ColorMan is used in different news rooms in different cities, even in different LAN´s, working with the same repro server! This deal, installation and training, is done by our Canadian reseller MINT-NA.

Dagens Nyheter, the largest newspaper in Sweden, has now started using ColorMan. The main purpose with ColorMan at DN is for handling caption texts automatically when dropping images into an InDesign layout. The deal is handled by our reseller Buildpix.

The NWT-group including SLA, are now running Cargo. The system handles all advertising files entering all 11 newspapers in the group.

Lärartidningar Produktion, a publishing house with about 15 titles, buys Cargo Online Preflight (COP). Using this add on module for their Cargo system they can allow the advertisers to preflight the PDF-files at the same time the deliver them - all done in the web browser.

boohoo.com, a UK based company selling clothes online, buys FileTrain to automate their workflow.

Dagens Nyheter, the biggest daily newspaper in Sweden, orders ColorMan and starts at the same time to use the Fotoware system. The system will run on Windows using InDesign. The system is sold by our reseller Buildpix.

Travronden the oldest and biggest magasine for horse racing, orders ColorMan to be used in QuarkXPress. Buildpix is in charge of the installation.

Annonsdax have been running AddMan Pro for a couple of years. They are now upgrading to Cargo XL, the installation will take place during the spring. Annonsdax handles a large proportion of the advertsing in newspapers such as Aftonbladet, Svenska Dagbladet and Metro and more.
